Base material is moulded - pulp or Papier-mache , various layers are pasted one on another , all layers are sun-dried and smoothened using traditional techniques, then the product is painted By- hand in floral patterns , animal images or other historical patterns in beautiful eye catching color. To preserve the colors and to enhance the durability of the product , layers of varnish are applied and the product is sun-dried .
